Copy of the mask created in 1593 for the Campo Vaccino fountain, located on the Aventine Hill in Piazza d'Illiria in Rome since 1936. Created by Giacomo della Porta (1532 – Rome, 3 September 1602) Italian architect and sculptor. Made by us in white Carrara marble.
Giacomo della Porta
Belonging to a family of Comacine sculptors, he began his activity in Genoa in his uncle Bartolomeo's workshop; among the various works left in the city, the statues of him in the Cybo chapel in the cathedral of San Lorenzo include the reclining figure of Giuliano Cybo.
