In this case a pair of almost identical Pisares is being sold.
In Puglia in particular, it is called "Pisara" and was attached with a rope and a chain to the saddle of a horse or donkey, which made wide turns on the threshing floor, to separate the fruits of the lupins and dried broad beans, collected in large quantity, from the pods.
