Large Antique Ligurian Jare H.81cms

The distribution of these oil tanks followed the spanish land expansion, starting fromXIII century, you can find these jars in any land under Spanish domination.
The principal distributions areas were as follow:
- all the Mediterranean sea, with particular regard to the ispanic influence places, ( south france and ligurian area up to Sarzana and Carrara in Tuscany, Campania and Sicily).
- Occasionally in all south Italy , meanwhile they are very common in Sardinia after medieval spanish invasion.
