Wonderful traps for wasps, flies and hornets, hand-made in blown glass in the nineteenth century.
Easily activated by adding vinegar and sugar or water and honey or other liquid suction solution.
Insects once entered the bottle are no longer able to get out.
Fruit trees in summer, when they are ripened, are invaded by insects, often also by dangerous hornets, in the last century, this was the only known effective remedy.
